Knights alum and ace saxophonist Khari Lee is staying busy in the New Orleans jazz scene in recent gigs with Delfeayo Marsalis & the Uptown Jazz Orchestra, the John Mahoney Big Band, the Jasen Weaver Sextet, and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra. You can find Lee on recently released albums by New Orleans legend Dr. John, octogenarian blues man Bobby Rush (Grammy award winner), and Blue Note recording artist and Jazz Messengers alum Terence Blanchard.
